THINQ Summit is a one-evening event designed to equip believers on how to think well about cultural conversations permeating today’s modern world.

Christians are confused in the chaos of information and need space to understand the times and know what to do. THINQ Media is stepping into the gap between the culture – bent on its progressive pursuits–and the Church, whose scriptural mandate is to bring wisdom and truth to all those seeking answers.

Some topics need a conversation, not just a sermon. What better way to engage a new generation, than by building up their confidence that the Christian faith offers a better way rather than the delusions capturing the imagination of their friends.

Of the most hotly contested and talked about issues of our day, few are more polarizing than conversations about gender, gender identity, and sexuality. While the majority of the church still holds the same or similar viewpoints, that is changing rapidly. As more people identify as gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, transgender or something else, many families in and outside of the church begin to reassess their beliefs about what the Scripture actually says.

To help our church navigate through these important issues, we are hosting a Conversation on Gender and Sexuality. On this evening we will hear from some of the leading experts in this field and listen to the stories of those who are working through their own struggles with gender identity and sexuality.  We will then have a time of conversation around tables so we can process together what we are learning. I will also share where New City stands on these matters as well as my own experiences in talking and meeting with others. 

I encourage you to do whatever you can to make it to this extraordinarily important evening.
