THINQ Summit is a one-evening event designed to equip believers on how to think well about cultural conversations permeating today’s modern world.

From complex conversations around gender, sexuality and race to current issues like AI technology, a changing economy, public health and the widening generational gaps, the fevered marketplace is reaching new moral tipping points.

Christians are confused in the chaos of information and need space to understand the times and know what to do. THINQ Media is stepping into the gap between the culture – bent on its progressive pursuits–and the Church, whose scriptural mandate is to bring wisdom and truth to all those seeking answers.

Some topics need a conversation, not just a sermon. What better way to engage a new generation, than by building up their confidence that the Christian faith offers a better way rather than the delusions capturing the imagination of their friends.

Have you ever had a conversation that veered into a topic that was divisive or controversial? Did you flee as fast as your feet could take you, or did you engage and have a healthy discussion full of wisdom and truth? I hope it's the latter, but oftentimes, the reality is much different. The divisive topics that seem to dominate the discourse of our society can lead us into challenging conversations and strained relationships. We all see life through a slightly different lens, formed by experience, education, influences, our interpretation of Scripture, and a multitude of other factors. How can we reconcile these different views and perspectives as we live out our daily calling to follow Jesus and bring his light into the dark places of this world? 

I have personally been on a journey of learning how to have more fruitful conversations that lead to Biblical truths. I have much to learn. A group called THINQ Media has helped me tremendously by providing experts on specific topics. THINQ encourages us to think well and ask good questions that aim to understand the heart of the matter or person, creating conversations that lead to wisdom. 

Please join me on October 6 at Hill Church as we listen to people who have wrestled with big questions, such as; the meaning of gender, culture, mental health, and transgenderism. We will listen to these simulcast videos and then have time to discuss as a church family. 

The purpose of this THINQ Summit is to help us engage one another and the communities we live in more effectively. We desire to honor God with our whole self, including our thoughts, our words, and our actions. Please come join us!
